Here’s what you can expect during a comprehensive home tune-up: 1. Adjusting the Shifters: Shifting smoothly is crucial for a seamless ride. We start by checking the shifters for proper alignment and functionality. We’ll adjust the cable tension and fine-tune the derailleur settings to ensure that each gear engages smoothly, allowing for effortless transitions while riding. 2. Realigning Handlebars: Over time, handlebars can become misaligned due to regular use or minor impacts. We’ll check the alignment and ensure they are straight and comfortable for the rider. Proper alignment enhances control and stability, contributing to a safer riding experience. 3. Adjusting Brakes: Brakes are one of the most critical components of any bike. We’ll inspect the brake pads for wear, adjust their positioning, and ensure they make proper contact with the rims. Additionally, we’ll check the cable tension and brake lever feel, ensuring responsive and reliable stopping power. 4. Pumping Tires: Proper tire pressure is vital for both safety and performance. We’ll check the pressure of each tire and inflate them to the recommended levels. Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: Saturday October 26th 2024 Thank you for choosing our services. To ensure clarity and mutual understanding, please review our General Service Policy outlined below: Cancellation Policy: Customers must provide a minimum of 48 hours (2 days) notice for the cancellation of scheduled appointments. Failure to do so will result in a charge of 75% of the base service fee to the credit card utilized at the time of booking. Punctuality: Given the high demand for our services, our mechanics will wait no longer than 10 minutes from the time of arrival. If no response is received within this timeframe, the appointment will be deemed a no-show, and the customer will be liable for the full amount of the service, including any pre-discussed adjustments related to distance. Customers are encouraged to reply promptly if contacted by our mechanics to avoid any disruption to the service. Weather Considerations: In the event of adverse weather conditions (e.g., rain or snow) that impede our ability to perform services, it is the customer's responsibility to provide a suitable covered location (such as a patio, garage, etc.) for our mechanics to work. If an adequate workspace is not provided, the appointment will be canceled, and the customer will incur the full service charge. Lubricants and Potential Staining: Customers acknowledge that our maintenance services may involve the application of lubricants, which could result in dripping or spray. By booking this appointment, customers confirm the existence of a designated area where staining from oils will not be a concern. We disclaim any liability for damages or staining to floors, driveways, patios, decks, or footpaths. While reasonable precautions will be taken to mitigate staining risks, customers understand that such occurrences may still happen. By utilizing our services, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to the terms outlined in this General Service Policy.
